Hello,

I have a client running a SBS2003 RC2 server with SP2. In trying to resolve
an issue in which the SharePoint services were spamming the application logs
incesseantly with an error of #50070 we logged into the Virtual Server
Console and changed created a custom application pool.

Upon saving the change the WWWPS can no longer start and therefore IIS
cannot connect to the server. It fails on each start saying it cannot find
the RPC server.

I'm wondering if there is a way to manually change the application pool back
to the appropriate setting?
If so - how do we go about doing this?
What should the appropriate setting be?

The server is running, Exchange services are live, and RPC over HTTP Outlook
connections are functioning properly.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Joe-

OK - I updated the MetaBase.xml file to set the pool back to StsAdminAppPool-
restarted the IIS Admin and dependent services - but WWWPS still fails to
start. Still saying it cannot find RPC server.

Anyone?
