Post subject: Configuring IIS Web Root
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

Hi, I am trying to configure a test IIS setup on my Windows XP machine. I
have several virtual directories that I use to distinguish different
websites. I would like to assign a different web root to each of these
virtual directories but they seem to inherit the webroot of the default
website. Can anybody advise how I can assign different webroot directories
for each virtual directory or is this a facility only available with Windows
Server based-IIS using Sites?

Thanks.

Hi,

You can only have more than one active website on Server systems
