Archived from groups: alt>apache>configuration (more info?)

In my old configuration it was possible to call a url like
that.

http://localhost/somedirectory/somefile

and he opened somefile.html, even if i didn't specified the
suffix.

now I upgraded to apache 2.x and this doesn't work any more
Sad I couldn't find out witch config directive, from the 1.3
configuration, I have to use.

can anybody help me?
