Hello,

I would like to find an application that allows *anyone*
to edit any given page within existing web site.

For example, web site is on a server, running, fully functional. Now
the owner wants to edit some text, add a link or delete some event
from one of his pages.
Simple editing stuff, nothing more complicated.

Not to build entire web site, just to edit text on already existing
single web page.

It needs to be done online, of course.

Any suggestions?

tnx
best regards

Use a database to store the content and perl or PHP scripts to update the
content.

All the client has to do is to fill a form with text fields and file loading
dialogs for images.

The script then displays the page with pre-defined styles.

Right now, i'm working on such a script at:

<a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://mon-oueb.com/champigny_renomme/journal/index.php" target="_blank">http://mon-oueb.com/champigny_renomme/journal/index.php</a>

Click on the menu item 'Publier un article ' to see how it works.

Your article will not be actually published because you do not have an
autorised email address. But you can see enough to make up your mind.

Don't say anything about the look of it, it's only a draft.
