I'm having issues with bandwidth throttling. At first it was working, but
now it's not and I can't get it to work again.
Here's the setup:
3 NIC cards on a Tyan Thunder Pro S2882 board. The 2 10/100/1000 ports are
in teaming mode and used on the local network only. The 10/100 card is used
for access to the smpt and http from the internet. When I first enabled
bandwidth throttling, I went into the teamed nics' properties and un-cheched
the QoS Packet Scheduler. This worked great, just the way I wanted. From
the internet, access to the web pages was slowed down so as not to use my
entire upload bandwidth, but from inside the local network, access was full
speed, no throttling.
What can I do to get it working again? I've unchecked the bandwidth
throttling, uninstalled the QoS Packet Scheduler and then went back into IIS
and re-enabled bandwidth throttling. It re-installed the QoS Packet
Scheduler(I didn't un-check it from any the the NIC properties this time),
but access is still full boar inside and outside the network.
Any ideas?

OK, got it to work, but not the way I want it.
I unchecked the throttling, removed QoS, resarted IIS and re-added
throttling. This worked. But the problem is tha I want un-throttled inside
my local network. When I un-bind QoS from the interface that's dedicated
for my internal network, throttling stops working for both inside and
outside.
Any suggestions? It was working at one point.

Make a separate virtual web, or use throttling on your router.

I'll try that, but I know I've had issues with frontpage extensions when
multple virtual servers were pointing to the same website. I'll give it a
try and see what happens.
