As former employee, I was privy to some shady dealings.
1. It is one guy. Not a big corp like he makes it look. That is not
a crime, but the lack of support and inability to product code are
false advertising. he might have more people by now, but I bet they
are just contractors who he hires as he can.
2. The feature list is highly misleading. Supports often means you
can manually type it in. For instance, it says the tek9 pro supports
FedEx. It does, if you type the word FedEx into it. It also supports
real time shipping by Hairy Armpits if you want.
3. Excellent response time to sales inquiries, no response to
support. This is easily proven by writing an email in and asking a
question. Then when there is no response for a week, write a new
email from a different address and say you are interested in buying
the cart. You will probably get a response in under 30 minutes.
Phone support is about the same.
4. The software is really honestly pretty feature rich, easy to use,
and reliable. However the coding style is atrocious, and can be
easily done 100% faster.
All in all, I am not the only person to be burned, so I am warning
anybody else to stay far away.
