i need to auto replicate a few folders from one server to
another...is there a way to do this with win2k or 2k3
server without 3rd party software...the folders aren't
domain roots nor dfs roots

Without going the DFs route, the closest you can come w/o 3rd party software
is using task Scheduler with some copy mechanism, such as XCOPY or ROBOCOPY
(Windows Resource Kit).

Microsoft Application Center is also an option for "real time/auto"
replication, but it will cost you a bit of money.
