Post subject: Auto-Catalog Of Virtual Directories
Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

We've got several developers adding virtual directories to our Windows
2000 servers as they work on various projects. They are supposed to
maintain a page that contains links to all the projects on the various
servers, but in with the pressure of deadlines this step is frequently
overlooked.

Is there a tool available that can automatically catalog the virtual
directories? Ideally I would like to publish new projects as an RSS feed
as well as maintain a searchable, sortable catalog of existing projects.
We can write this sort of thing for ourselves, but I'd rather find
something that's already done and spend our development resources on what
our customers are paying us for.

I believe FrontPage has this functionality, if they are building in frontpage. Same for Visual Studio. Other than that, not sure of a 3rd party product. Try here:
microsoft.public.frontpage.client

Thank you. I hope this information is helpful.
