Hi,

I've been designing static websites for a couple of years now and need to
start offering my clients e-commerce solutions.

I'm considering purchasing Actinic Catalogue V7. Does anyone have any
contructive comments regarding this program. If I beleive everything that
their website tells me I should have a full e-commerce website set up and
earning money within thirty minutes of opening the box! OK, prehaps not
that soon, but it does seem to have all of the features I require and it is
supposed to be easy to use.

Here's my website if you care to have a look: www.smdwebsites.co.uk

Regards and thanks for any advice,

Sonars_UK

Howdy,

I've followed Actinic for a few years. They generally get good comments on
the newsgroups. However, they have never gotten their cart certified and
are not on the <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://authorizenet.com/alliances/carts_cert.php" target="_blank">http://authorizenet.com/alliances/carts_cert.php</a> page.

You'll see my BIZyCart Ecommerce Server there.

No matter what shopping cart you decide to specialize in, you've got a long
learning curve.

You need to stop using FrontPage and start learning HTML. Your background
color is Grey by default and the text is way too small.

Get a copy of Firefox (http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox) to see what
your site really looks like.
