If IE reports "Bad Request (Invalid Hostname)", please check if the
web site is using a specific IP other than "All unassigned".
Another way to track down is using WebFetch. It's included in IIS6
resource kit tools:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&familyi
d=56fc92ee-a71a-4c73-b628-ade629c89499
Run wfetch on the IIS server, needn't change any default setting.
Click Go! and paste the output back to newsgroup. Let's help you look
into it.
