hi,
has anyone in the UK any experience of 2checkout.com? I was wondering
specifically about the settlement.
They say they'll send a cheque to you free. But is it in UK Pounds of
US Dollars? If dollars doesn't it cost a lot to pay it in?
are 2checkout.com any good?
any advice greatly appreciated.
many thanks

Run away from 2CO. We've had horrible experiences with them...and check out
their forums, for a peek at how they treat their customers. I would, but I
can't because I was banned and admonished for asking (politely, I might add)
which days are figured into settlement periods. Apparently, the moderator
thought I asked a question that someone else had already asked...I didn't.
We have also had problems with them taking money out of our bank account,
without permission. I'm not talking about money we owed, or money for any
other fee...I'm talking "whooops, we made a mistake and accidentally
withdrew $2000+ out of your bank account. We'll put it back now."
Also do a search on 2checkout at webhostingtalk.com for similar experiences.

They have some problesm with support, and sometimes with accesing on
accounts, servers are sometime busy so you need to wait to get in.
I wante to try Authorize.net, don't even have any details on web site, when
asked as new customer about more info, never got response. Seems like there
are all so so, no one is that good you could say excellent.
You just gotta take it, and that is it.
Also when I had BIG problems with 2CO, they have support forum, I posted my
problem that I'am not satisfied with them, and they just deleted my post.
And now every time I want something to post there they just block account
and delete my posts.<!-- ~MESSAGE_AFTER~ --> >> Stay informed about: 2Checkout from the UK |

Join the club. My post wasn't even rude or impolite. I just asked a
question and it was deleted...and I was banned from making posts.
Their customer service is extremely rude and hostile. They act like they
are doing you a HUGE favor by processing credit card orders for you.
We're with Paysystems now, and they are WONDERFUL. No problems
whatsoever...and they have LiveChat AND a phone number, where you can reach
customer service.

Also take a look at Worldpay.co.uk as many of our customers use them with no
problems and also Protex is meant to be very good but I don't have any
personal experience with Protex myself.
Many Thanks,

Paysystems is alot like 2checkout...but everything actually works. The part
that lists sales, fees, etc. is SOOOOOOO much better than 2checkout's there
really is no comparison.

Hello
I have to toss in my 2 cents here, sorry. I wrote 2CheckOut twice
asking questions, and by the next day I got a reply. I wrote
PaySystems.com two weeks ago, and no reply. All topics were for
example code, and setting up shop. Sure they were simple questions
and I could have searched for the answers, but if PaySystems doesn't
even reply to setup questions, how are they for continued operations?
Guess which company I went with. Might learn something later on, but
right now, it's 2CheckOut.com that seemed motivated in help me to get
setup.
Ok, so it was more than 2 cents, keep the change.
later,
tom

Well that is nice to hear. But if I have some questions about Paysystems can

Just give me your e-mail and I'll contact you or that other person that can

If you want to use Authorize.Net but are having problems with their
support use CCTranMan - it is certified by Authorize.Net. Please check
it out at <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://cheapdevtools.com/product/product.asp?ProdID=254" target="_blank">http://cheapdevtools.com/product/product.asp?ProdID=254</a>
With CCTranMan you don't need to use WINHttp 5.1 (or anything else)
all that is required is that the .Net framework 1.0 or greater is
installed on the machine that uses CCTranMan. It handles Credit Card
Transactions, eCheck Transactions, and offers full support for Wells
Fargo Credit Card and Echeck transaction.
Fully compatible with COM and .NET clients and is well documented with
sample for both COM and .NET clients - (ie ASP 3.0, ASP.NET, Visual
Basic 6, Visual Basic .NET and C#).
When you buy a product from <a style='text-decoration: underline;' href="http://cheapDEVtools.com" target="_blank">http://cheapDEVtools.com</a> you download your
product right away and it is available for future downloads under the
MY ACCOUNT ---> DOWNLOADS section of the site.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

many thanks for all the comments.
I started to go with paysystems then hit a problem. If I want to sell
in US dollars, they will only settle in dollars. I really want someone
to do the exchange for me and settle in UK Pounds.
I'll keep looking. Maybe it doesn't exist...
