Archived from groups: microsoft>public>inetserver>iis (more info?)

When I use a form on a website that and attempt to send
the results via email it fails.

I receive the following error on the website:

FrontPage Error.
User: please report details to this site's webmaster.
Webmaster: please see the server's application event log
for more details.

When I look on the server I find a smtpsvc error with
Event ID 4005:

Event Type: Information
Event Source: smtpsvc
Event Category: None
Event ID: 4005
Date: 6/14/2004
Time: 4:51:32 PM
User: N/A
Computer: IIS-01
Description:
Time spent on preparing to reset routes: [0] milliseconds
Time spent on recalculating next hops: [0] milliseconds
Queue length : [0]

Does anyone have a clue? I've been using IIS and sending
mail using the FPSE for many years. Is this a problem in
the web server edition of 2003? 'Time spent on routes
[0] seems like a big clue but I am stummped.

Thanks for any leads.

The type of error is : "Information" so it does not describe, an error.
possibly you'll find another error in the application log...
smtp often does 'not work' if no dns server is available, this dns server
should help to route mail...
